I can design your unique style for your lifestyle custom made to fit your needs. What are the steps in designing and purchasing custom furniture? First you need to make an apptointment for your free
in house design consultaion to get started designing your style of furniture
needs and ideas. You can contact me via the website quote form or call me at 1-805-444-1586.
You can reach me Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Pacific time). After
receiving your information I will complete a quote based on creating and designing
your style of furniture If this quote is acceptable I require a 10% deposit to do all the finishing
on the design drawings. The drawings will be produced for your final approval.
At any time during the design phase you can walk away with no more obligations
for the furniture but you will forfeit your 10% deposit. There are no charge
for changes in the design or revisions to the drawings at this time I require a 50% deposit less the 10% design fee after drawings have been approved
and a firm quote is agreed on. Materials are now ordered and your furniture is put into the production schedule. How will my furniture be finished?
I use different
finishes based on the use of the furniture or cabinet. Dining tables sometimes
require a hard catalyzed varnish finish, but a entertainment center or a bookcase
may require a hand rub oil finish or a hand painted glaze finish. Finish
depends much on the look you want. All colors
are custom mixed and approved by you. Every piece is designed with your style
in mind so you'll be given a choice that best suits the look and style that works
for you and your lifestlye We only cover these local areas

areas in the San Fernado Valley and Ventura County When will my furniture be completed and delivered?
I
am typically booked up weeks in advance and delivery depends on final signed
approval of design plus the design and build time of your piece. Delivery tcosts
range from $75 to $150 depending on your location. When we finalize you contract,
I will give you an estimated completion date. When your order is nearing completion,

UNIQUE ATTRIBUTES OF INDOOR FURNITURE
• Glass: Furniture industry standards allow for small air
bubbles, hairline scratches and minor waviness within glass; all is inherent
and not to be considered as defects.
• Wood Furniture: Wood is a natural resource and will vary
in grain character and color. Knot size and location are also naturally occurring
and shouldn't be considered as defects. Wood has a natural moisture content and
hence, movement. However wood still expands and contracts in reaction to changes
in room temperature and humidity.
• Leather Upholstered Furniture: Some variation in color
and grain characteristics will occur, along with distinguishing markings, wrinkles,
healed scars and vein lines, and are not to be considered defects.
• Upholstered Furniture: High quality resilient foam and
filling materials are used for all of our seating. Seat cushions and pillows
will loose some of their fullness over time, and some wrinkling will occur. This
is normal and not considered to be a defect.
• Hand Painted Furniture: Each piece is a one-of-a-kind
and is hand finished by hand by are own technique and interpretation. No two
pieces will be identical. Expect minor variations in color and pattern. Please
expect minor variations, which attest to their hand-painted nature
• Marble and Stone: Genuine marble and stone is a "footprint" of
nature. Each piece is unique, with random color tones and veining that cannot
be identical from piece to piece. This is a result of varying mineral deposits
within rock formations and not considered a defect. Crevices in stone are also
natural. In most cases the manufacturer uses a colored resin to fill the crevices.
• Antiqued and Distressed Finish: Surfaces and finishes
are often "distressed" to
achieve an antiqued, vintage appearance. Wood and metal surfaces are often hammered
and gouged to achieve a worn look. Distressing is intentional, and not to be
considered a defect.
Detailed Client Checklist
Walls
and Floors:Client is responsible on the existing job site for the condition of
walls and floors. Client is responsible to fix any and all walls and floors that
are out of square , out of level ,out of plumb and any humps before installation
takes place or agrees to have installation done with walls as is . Installation
then will be installed not level , not square , not plumb and may affect the
final appearance of the job also additional charges may be incurred when additional
adjustments need to be made that delay the time of installation.
Hand Crafted , Hand Cut , Hand Made : All pieces are hand cut and hand made not
machine made cuts and manufactured. Which gives it unique attributes small cuts
will vary in sizes this should not be considered a defect

Woods: Woods a natural resource and will vary in grain character and color. Knot

defects. Wood used in our furniture is kiln dried to reduce moisture content
and hence, movement. However wood still expands and contracts in reaction to
changes in room temperature and humidity. Some variation in color and grain characteristics
will occur, along with distinguishing markings, wrinkles, healed scars and vein
lines, and are not to be considered defects
Glass: Furniture industry standards allow for small air bubbles, hairline scratches

Crown Molding ,Base Molding ,Side Molding: No removal or replacement of existing
molding on job site. All molding must be removed before date of installation
or additional charges will be incurred.
Electrical: Client is responsible for all installation and removal of any switches
and or electrical hardwiring of walls before installation for any reason that
work is not completely and delays installation additional trip charges will be
incurred.
Hardware: No outer knobs or handle hardware is included in price. Hardware will
be installed at time of installation providing that hardware is provided by customer
at the time of installation. If an additional trip is required to install hardware
additional charges will be incurred.
Designer Services: Free Design Consultation only limited to service on design
of woodwork . All other design services are $125.00 per hour
Delivery time line: We reserve the right to change production delivery times
when changes are implemented and signatures are required.
